The name comes from the Greek echinos — hedgehog or sea urchin — because of its spiky central cone, which prickles to the touch.

💡 Fact No. 2 · Only seven substances have this claim
"Protection of cells from oxidative stress" is recognised only for vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, zinc, manganese, riboflavin and copper. Two of them are in this capsule.

💡 Fact No. 3 · Echinacea is related to ragweed
Both belong to the Asteraceae family — as do chamomile and wormwood. That's why, in case of allergy to any of these, a cross-reaction is possible.
